Our approach
Escrow first, everything else after
Before we designed a single product page, we built MarmacPay — the escrow system that holds every payment until a buyer confirms their order. Identity verification, fraud detection, and dispute resolution followed from that same principle: nobody should have to trust a stranger with their money online.
The Marmac Africa ecosystem
One identity, more than one app
MarmacMart is part of Marmac Africa, alongside MarmacFix — a mechanic booking app. The two share the same identity and verification layer, so a seller verified on MarmacMart carries that trust across the ecosystem. If you’re buying a vehicle, that shared identity is what makes a pre-purchase mechanic inspection through MarmacFix possible.
